Student volunteers
Connect with people who can help through SRC Volunteering
SRC Volunteering is a key service within the Glasgow University Students’ Representative Council (SRC), open to all students at the University of Glasgow.
If you’re a charity, social enterprise, or non-profit organisation looking for volunteers, SRC Volunteering would love to work with you. By registering on its Provider Hub, you’ll gain access to a community of over 40,0000 University of Glasgow students.
Through the Hub, you can:
· Create and manage your organisation’s profile
· Advertise one-off or ongoing volunteering opportunities
· Receive and process volunteer applications directly
Additional benefits include:
· Invitations to attend our on-campus volunteering fairs and events
· Promotion of your opportunities across our social media channels
Our students come from diverse backgrounds and bring a wide range of skills and experience to the organisations they support. Volunteering gives them the chance to develop confidence, enhance their employability, and make meaningful contributions in the local community.
By partnering with us, your organisation will gain dedicated volunteer support while helping students develop through meaningful community engagement. SRC Volunteering enables students to record their activities and gain formal recognition for their contributions.
